Public Programs Basket Weaving

Join Tammy Braunscheidel of Bet Baskets in Ann Arbor as she teaches you how to weave a pie basket. This basket starts with a 10x10 base and is woven up 4-1/2 inches on the sides. It includes three rows of color weaving and a notched wood handle. It holds one pie. Space is limited; pre-registration required. Fee: $32/members; $37/non-members.

Moonlight Ski

Dahlem Ecology Farm The Ecology Farm is off to a great start! Community gardens, beekeeping, and a hoophouse are the first big steps. We are also in the process of clearing a new nature viewing trail.Located at the former J. Sterling Wickwire Angus cattle farm, 1427 Wickwire Road, the Ecology Farm is an extension of the Dahlem Environmental Education Center. Visit Dahlem Ecology Farm

School Programs Our World of Water


Our World of Water is an in-school program that is designed for grades 4 through 6 and correlates with MEAP Science Objectives and more!

The Life Cycle of Stuff

An introduction to natural resources, human impact, and the three R's for second grade classrooms and up. This program and a selection of Jackson's Natural Heritage Programs are presented FREE to schools through a grant received by Recycling Jackson and The Dahlem Conservancy. More School Programs
