DESCRIPTION:  \nCancelled due to COVID-19 worldwide outbreak pandemic.  We will try again next April 2021 during frog breeding season. \nWhat better way to welcome spring than to wade in the waters of our glacial pond in search of the season’s first choristers: Spring Peepers\, Chorus frogs and Wood frogs. Maybe we’ll find a Leopard frog or American toad!  This is a great evening event for families to learn about\, catch and release frogs!  Bring your wading boots and dress for the weather. \nFee per person: $3/Dahlem member and $5/nonmember\nIf the air temperature is too cold for frogs to be active\, then the event will be cancelled.  Please keep your fingers crossed for a warm spring evening! \nRegister Here!

DESCRIPTION:Schools\, events\, and programs are cancelled due to COVID-19 outbreak\nWith the arrival of Spring\, the Jackson County Conservation District is excited to announce the 14th Annual “Earth Day Celebration in the Park” event which will take place on Saturday April 25th from 1-4pm at Cascades Park. This is a free family event for all ages that will include hands on activities\, crafts\, classroom critters\, and live music. Come join Dahlem and many other non-profit organizations to learn more about how you can help take care of planet earth.
