SUMMARY:Explore the Night: Night Hike & Guided Telescope Observing - Oct. 15
DESCRIPTION:Join Ella Sharp Museum and the Dahlem Center for a wonderful night under the stars! \nLet’s explore and use our night senses! The goal for our night walk\, led by Dahlem Naturalist Educator Carrie Benham\, is to help people enjoy being outdoors after dark\, help them feel safe\, and share information about nocturnal animals\, the senses they use at night\, and how we can better develop our own senses and awareness of the dark. Afterwards\, Ella Sharp Museum will be providing hands-free guided telescope observing with Planetarium Operator\, Austin Edmister. We will be observing to view the planets and many other celestial wonders\, and watching the stars come out. Telescope observing is dependent on clear skies and weather permitting. Tickets are nonrefundable. In the event of a rain day\, tickets will be applied to a rescheduled date. \nPlease note\, outdoor capacity is limited as we will be practicing social distancing on the trails. Attendees will be required to fill out a health screening survey\, have their temperature checked\, and must wear a mask. There will also be hands-free telescope observing and sanitization products will be present. \nProceeds from this program benefit both the Dahlem Center and Ella Sharp Museum. \n\n\n\n\nPrice: $10/person\, per program.  Register online at Ella Sharp Museum \nDates:\nAugust 20 @ 8:00 pm … SOLD OUT\nSeptember 17 @ 7:30 pm … SOLD OUT\nOctober 15 @ 7:00 pm  … SOLD OUT\nNovember 19 @ 6:00 pm \nEvent Location: The Dahlem Center\n7117 South Jackson Road\nJackson\, MI 49201
