More than Morels with Chris Zurn
Join the Jackson Conservation District and Dahlem to learn all about Michigan mushrooms!
Chris Zurn, member of the Michigan Mushroom Hunters Club and MDARD certified expert mushroom identifier, will share mushroom identification tips and more about the fantastic fungi that are all around us. You’ll learn about mushroom safety and which harmful mushrooms you should be aware of. Chris will share his favorite mushrooms to harvest, what they can be used for, and will also talk about the ecological roles fungi play.
