Survival Day at Dahlem

Survival Day at Dahlem
Ready to test your outdoor skills? Join us for a hands-on, four-hour wilderness survival experience at the Dahlem Conservancy. Learn the essential tools of wilderness survival while exploring the beautiful autumn landscape. Together, we will hike the trails to practice tracking and identifying seasonal edible plants, work in teams to construct debris shelters, and tackle wilderness first aid scenarios. You will also learn how to pack a proper survival bag, purify water, and build a fire without a lighter. We will wrap up our survival days by using those very fires to cook a well-earned campfire treat.
This program is for anyone 8+. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
